The poppy is a red flower that grew on the battlefields in France. Soldiers said that it was so red because of all the blood and killing.

Poppies for people to wear on ANZAC day

We wear poppies on ANZAC Day to remember those that died at war.
Soldiers were given medals for going to war and being so brave. Today these medals are family treasures.
